Double Delight For Digita

12 April 2006

Accountancy software developer Digita is celebrating after two of its products have been short listed for the LexisNexis Taxation Awards 2006.

Entries for Digita Corporation Tax and Digita Personal Tax have both made it to the shortlist in the category of Best Tax Software in the profession’s most prestigious awards.

Digita has maintained a remarkable record of being the only software supplier to have a product shortlisted in every year that the awards have been staged and was a previous winner in 2003.

The Award Ceremony Event co-ordinator for LexisNexis, Sharon Hart said:

"The standard of entrants was incredibly high and the judges had a tough job of determining the shortlist."

The announcement follows soon after Digita’s highly successful Annual Conference at Stratford-upon-Avon where the company was able to provide the first public demonstration of Microsoft’s Small Business Accounting software.

Jerry Rihll, Digita managing director said:

"It has been another hectic year with new products and product upgrades. Having both our personal tax and corporation tax products short listed for the Best Tax Software category demonstrates the great innovation and value our development teams have been delivering."

Winners in the LexisNexis Taxation Awards 2006 will be announced on the night of Wednesday 24th May at a gala dinner at The London Hilton Hotel.
