Digita in the frame for Accountancy Age Awards

21 September 2005

Digita Accounts Pro has been short listed for the Accountancy Age Small Business Software Package of the Year Award.

Now in their eleventh year, the highly influential Accountancy Age Awards recognise the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations and their performance and results to the profession as a whole.

Jerry Rihll, Digita managing director said;

"We are obviously delighted with this nomination especially as this year the awards included user input and there are no more discerning judges than the software end-users themselves."

The ICAEW accredited Accounts Pro software is attracting a wide range of practitioners because of its intuitive presentation, its data sharing capability across all Digita products and because it has been developed using the latest Microsoft .NET and SQL technology.

Kevin Salter, a partner with Glover Stanbury and member of the board of the ICAEW IT Faculty said:

"Digita Accounts Pro is very up to date so it's utilizing the latest technology. While we will have to provide specialist training for our staff in certain areas, we actually threw them in at the deep end with Digita Accounts Pro and they have all readily picked it up because it’s so easy to understand from the outset."
