Thomson Reuters Releases Latest Version of Digita Tax Software

Exmouth, April 24th, 2012 — Thomson Reuters today announced the release of updates to its Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax software. Version 12.2 includes provision for the tax year 2011/12 and includes new forms and computations to ensure accountancy firms are compliant from the first day of the tax year, 6 April. Generating tax returns annually for thousands of UK accountants and tax practitioners, Digita tax solutions are used by all sizes of firm, from sole practitioners to the Big Four.

Key new features of Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 12.2 include:
• 2011/12 forms SA100, SA800, SA900, R40, P11D, CWF1, HS302, HS304, and R185
• An addition to the Income from Property Schedule, FHL-EEA Business to comply with new legislation relating to losses from Furnished Holiday Lettings which can now only be carried forward against future profits from the same business
• A facility to bring forward unused pension relief for up to three years following the introduction of the new annual allowance
• Integration with PKF’s P11D software allowing benefits and expenses to be imported directly into clients’ tax returns resulting in time saving efficiencies and eliminating typing errors
