16 March 2011

LONDON, 16 March 2011: Accountants are being offered a unique opportunity to put iXBRL related questions to a distinguished panel of specialists on the eve of the new compliance regime coming into force – Thursday 31, March.

The ‘question time’ session is to be staged at the forthcoming Digita conference for professional tax and accounting firms, which is set to take place over two days: Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April 2011 at the Four Pillars Hotel in the Cotswolds.

The opportunity to pose a question is open to all, even those not attending the conference. Questions can be posted on a dedicated Twitter page or on the Digita Facebook site. A selection will be chosen and put to the panel comprising Anita Monteith, Tax Faculty Technical Manager ICAEW, Nigel Harris, Director of Corporate Client Services at Burton Sweet, Lucy Cohen, co-founder of Mazuma , the current holders of the coveted HSBC Start-up Stars Award, and Graham Tilbury, Thomson Reuters’ resident iXBRL specialist. The panel’s answers to the questions will be published live as the discussion evolves.
