DIGITA OFFERS TO TRANSFORM CLIENTS FOR COMIC RELIEF

Financial software developer Digita is offering accountants across the UK the chance to be immortalised as their favourite pop idol in aid of Comic Relief.

In 2005, the Exmouth based firm ran a highly successful advertising campaign entitled 'You’ve changed', in which an accountant was dressed as an iconic pop star.

This year the company is inviting bids from accountants to have a digital makeover with the winning bid rewarded with a framed picture of themselves in the guise of their own pop idol.

Digita Head of Sales, Dermot Hamblin said:

"The idea of accountants as rock stars always seems to amuse people and our advertising campaign worked very well at the time.

"We had the idea of fund-raising for Comic Relief by giving the practice which pledges the most the chance to be immortalised as their favourite pop idol in the style of the original advert as a piece of timeless nostalgia.

"Our creative team will transform photographs from the winning bidder into the star of their choice and give them a one-off piece of artwork, mounted and framed to take pride of place in their office."

Digita’s offer is open to all accountancy practices with the firm bidding the highest donation to Comic Relief winning up to 4 staff members the opportunity to become their idols.
