City firm FW Stephens is the latest practice to move its tax software requirements from CCH to Digita.

The 12 partner firm has acquired Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax going live with the new software for the new tax year.

FW Stephens General Manager Chris Madden said:

"We were faced with a major data migration issue as a result of the upgrading and training requirements of CCH PersonalTax, so it seemed a good time to look at the market.

"Having narrowed our options down to two, we decided to go for Digita because in general it was the better all round product and in particular features such as the dividend feed are an integral part of the program further adding to the time-saving benefits of the Digita suite.

"Digita were also great value, with fixed price training and support giving us confidence that any problems would be manageable and resolved quickly.

"Quite simply, it was the best product available."
