Digita Personal Tax gives early returns for ieTaxguard

29 November 2007

The staff at a leading firm providing personal tax services are already looking forward to Christmas having completed nearly all their clients tax returns before the end of December.

This outstanding performance results from a combination of outsourcing and efficient tax software.

With the industry starting to see outsourcing as an acceptable and reliable way of saving time and costs, ieTaxguard already has a well established model in place.

A Digita partner for six years, ieTaxguard uses the features in the Personal Tax programme to ensure that the firm provides not only a quick and efficient service but also one that minimises risk.

Digita customers are able to outsource data entry with confidence knowing that it is an image of rather than the actual data which is sent to India and as the clerk types, keystrokes are passed back to the server.

The risk management features in Digita Personal Tax such as Active View, Client Enquiries and Client Review are also utilised in the tax return process to ensure that the relevant controls are always in place.

Shaun Crozier, Business Integrations Director commented:

"The combination of outsourcing and using Digita Personal Tax has resulted in us being able to complete 97% of our own clients returns by the end of October. We are keen to offer this service to other accountancy practices who can rest assured that the risk management tools we apply via Digita Personal Tax coupled with the processes we have in place in the UK will ensure that their compliance work is dealt with quickly, efficiently and safely."

ieTaxguard will be at the 6th Digita Annual Conference being held on the 13/14 March 2008 at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel near Coventry to explain how practices can use outsourcing safely and with confidence.
