Networking (hostess)

Have you ever thought about attending an industry conference, seminar or event but unsure whether it was worth it or not? Well indeed it is! Surrounding yourself with like minded professionals openly sharing ideas will spark an array of creativity.

3 ways to maximize the benefits of attending events:

· Expand your network – Increase brand awareness
· Remember your business cards – network and build relationships
· Learn and teach – stay up to date with industry trends

Expand your network

One of the great benefits of attending events is networking with peers, customers and prospects whilst increasing awareness of your brand in your chosen field. This is an opportunity to meet strangers and turn them into clients, business partners or colleagues.

Remember your business cards

Events are a great way to build connections and gain referrals. Make sure you bring plenty of business cards with you and be willing to accept business cards from peers, prospects and vendors. You never know when they might come in handy!

Learn and teach

Events are not just a great place to socialize; they are a fundamental opportunity to gain up-to-date industry insight, knowledge and trends. Many organizations will launch exclusive new products and industry experts will talk about upcoming issues. Take this as a chance to learn not only from your peers and experts but from your customers, what do they need to see from you? How can you help them?

This year we’ll be attending Accountex 2016, the annual national accountant exhibition & conference on May 11th and 12th. This has become the flagship event for tax and accounting, delivering over 200 leading industry suppliers, 150 CPD certified seminars and 25 interactive workshops. This is a great opportunity for us to connect with customers, prospects and our peers. We will be demonstrating the software and helping customers with any queries. Come and join us!
