The following software updates are available for Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax. For further assistance, please email support@digita.com or call our Customer Support Division on 01395 280 200.

Please ensure you backup your database using the Digita Database Backup tool before applying any updates.


Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.3

This update should be used to upgrade Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.2 to version 10.3. Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.3 includes changes in the following areas:

  • Pensions computation.
  • Non-residence dialog.
  • Default inclusion of Sole Trade and Partnership income in the relevant earnings calculation.
  • Trust Tax computation and form behaviour.
  • This version also incorporates the 2006/07 Dividend Data Feed below.

Installation instructions:

  • This update can only be used to upgrade from Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.2.
  • For standalone installations this update should be run on the Personal, Business and Trust Tax workstation.
  • For network installations this update should be run on the Personal, Business and Trust Tax server. All workstations will be automatically update the next time they launch the Personal, Business and Trust Tax application.

Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.3 NRE Update

In certain circumstances Digita Personal, Business and Trust Tax 10.2 was not including Sole Trade or Partnership Income schedules in the relative earnings calculation. This behaviour has been amended in version 10.3 for newly created schedules. However, even after upgrading to 10.3, affected schedules created prior to the 10.3 upgrade will still be excluded from the calculation.

By running this update any Sole Trade or Partnership Income schedules in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 tax years that were created before upgrading to version 10.3, that have not been marked as complete, will be updated to be included in the relevant earnings calculation.

Installation instructions:

  • This is a database update and therefore needs to be run directly on your database server.
