Digita Company Secretarial is the solution to Keeping your ‘client’ or ‘group’ company statutory records in good shape. In addition to handling the basic requirements for statutory record keeping, the software provides a range of innovative Internet based features to offer you greater control and efficiency. Its ground breaking Sentinel filing monitor runs silently in the background, alerting you to new forms filed against your companies at Companies House.
Its Public Record Checker lets you synchronise your company details with Companies House, and its Company Import feature lets you set up a new company just by entering its registered number, with details being retrieved from Companies House. Digita Company Secretarial is approved by Companies House to electronically file forms 190, 1 90a, 287, 288a, 268b, 288c, 353, 353a and 363a, so that changes can be recorded and filed in seconds. Digita is an active participant in the Companies House working groups that are planning for October 2009. On this date not only will the final sections of the Companies Act 2006 come into force, but also a completely new system for electronic filing using XML forms submitted directly to the Companies House Gateway over the internet.
As well as Companies House reporting it also produces printed statutory registers, including directors and shareholders registers, and minutes of meetings to authorise statutory changes. It will process dividend distributions accounting for any waivers and produce tax vouchers, covering letters for each shareholder and Deeds of Waiver where applicable.
Statutory information can be shared with other Digita users for accounts and tax return preparation. It will also monitor tasks due, such as annual returns, AGMs and accounts filing. It exports company and shareholder details for mail merge or reporting purposes and share transaction details for HMRC form 42 completion. Duplication of address and individuals is avoided using the latest SQL Server relational database technology.
